I don’t know about you, but I am SO ready for football season to start. I love spending the weekends with my family and our friends. I’m not into college football so much, but the Cowboys are on every Sunday at our house. (You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can’t take the Texas out of the girl.) We everyone comes over, I like to put out a big spread of munchie foods so we can graze all day and a pitcher cocktail like my Strawberry & Lime Moscato Punch. One of my most requested appetizers are these Glazed Kielbasa Bites. I make them practically every other week during the fall and they’re always the first thing to disappear.

One of my favorite things about this appetizer is how easy it is to make. Once you cut the kielbasa and pineapple all you have to do is assemble the bites, mix up the glaze and bake. My boys love helping me in the kitchen so once the knife work is done, we all grab the toothpicks and start making the bites. Since they helped, they also get first dibs on the finished product once it cools down enough to eat. We like to call it quality control.
While these kielbasa bites are great for game day, I like to serve them all year long. At our summer backyard BBQs, for Christmas and New Years, and my husband may have even requested them for a birthday dinner appetizer. There’s really no wrong time to make these Glazed Kielbasa Bites. One bite of their sweet and salty flavor and you’ll be hooked!

Cutting Board:Â A good-sized cutting board is a must for home cooks. This board is thick & sturdy and makes recipe prep a breeze.
Mixing Bowl:Â These mixing bowls are perfect for mixing and serving. I love the varied sizes so I always have to right size bowl for all my mixing needs.
Baking Sheet:Â A nice big baking sheet is a must have for any kitchen. This half pan sheet is large than a regular cookie and works great for anything you’re baking.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. kielbasa sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 14 oz can pineapple slices in juice, quartered
- 3 T teriyaki sauce
- 1 T sweet chili sauce
- 1 T honey
- 1 T pineapple juice from can
Instructions
- preheat oven to 425 degrees
- place a piece of pineapple on top of a slice of kielbasa and stick a toothpick into them
- in a small bowl combine remaining ingredients
- line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray
- place kielbasa bites onto the baking sheet
- brush glaze over tops and sides of bites
- place in oven and cook for 15 to 20 min (keeping an eye on them)
- remove and enjoy hot!
