This BIG DADDY BURGER just oozes flavor. It’s a taste sensation that any guy (or gal) would love!
My husband is a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur. He has even gone so far as to say, if he had to choose, a burger would be his final meal.
I Â created this burger especially for him.
It’s piled high with all of his favorite flavors and fixins.
It all starts with your favorite burger. Make that TWO of your favorite burgers — whether that’s a homemade mix of ground beef and seasonings or a pre-formed patty you grab at the grocery store. I won’t judge. Just as long as you have two of them.
I like to season all of my burgers with my homemade burger seasoning blend. This stuff is incredible. I mix up a big batch of it so I always have some on hand. It brings out the flavor of any burger — the beef variety or the turkey variety. It would probably even be awesome on a veggie burger too!
Once you season your burgers, grill them up and top them with your favorite cheese — my hubs loves Monterey Jack so that’s what I used for this one.
Next, I piled it high with coleslaw. The tangy bite of the slaw is just what this burger needed to cut through the richness. It’s all about flavor balance.
Then, I stacked crispy, panko-crusted onion rings on top. I kept it simple and used my favorite store-bought variety. But make sure they are crispy. It adds so much to the texture of this over-the-top burger.
The final component is the sauce. And, we’re not talking plain, old ketchup here. I slathered on a (very) generous layer of my signature Boom Boom Sauce. Seriously, this is the best sauce. It’s the perfect topping for burgers or sandwiches and makes a great dipping sauce for fries and onion rings.
Or, you could eat it right out the container – it’s not like I do that or anything.
Or do I?!? I’ll never tell.
When you put the whole thing together you get this mountain of flavor and texture. It’s crazy good and over-the-top and perfect for a Big Daddy!
