I’ve put together a weekly meal plan and a shopping list to make your week a bit easier! We’ve got dinner for 7 nights planned so you don’t have to worry!
How was your week? Mine was great! We’ve started to plan our summer and I’m getting VERY excited!!! I also committed to working out this week too! When we moved here I didn’t have my boot camp and I was distracted settling in to our new house and our new state and I lost my motivation. I found a class I have to sign up for and a friend to go with so I’m really optimistic about my success making exercise a habit!
So who’s ready for a new meal plan already done for them? Here you go!
MEAL #1 15 MINUTE TILAPIA PARMESAN
We all need very fast, easy dinners in our game plan! Even if we think we’re going to have an easy week there will inevitably be a day when things get crazy, we get caught up in a project or the kids have a last minute school assignment that takes more time than we planned and our first inclination is to call for carry out or delivery. When you have 15 Minute Tilapia Parmesan you can get dinner on the table faster than delivery!
MEAL #2 CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP
Everyone who has ever tried Chicken Tortilla Soup has loved it! This time of year the weather is very strange. We’ll have several days of sunshine and warm temps and then we’re back to cool days and drizzle. I like to have a soup I can make easily to warm us up when the chill sets back in!
MEAL #3 SLOW COOKER CHICKEN TACOS
As the school year winds down I find that I’m losing steam. I start the year with so much energy and good intentions, but just like the kids, I am losing more and more as we get closer and closer to summer vacation. For that reason, I need to have slow cooker dinners in my weekly menu plans, like Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos! They’re so tasty and the entire family loves them, so dinner time is a breeze!
MEAL #4 THE ULTIMATE BURGER!
This really is the Ultimate Burger. The patty is filled with shredded onion and carrots, keeping it moist and sneaking in some veg on the kids. Then it’s topped with amazing tasties, like roasted sweet patotoes, caramelized onions, cheese and avocado!!!! I’m drooling just thinking about it!
MEAL #5 DUTCH OVEN POT ROAST
Dutch Oven Pot Roast is one of my favorite meals for the nights when I have more time on my hands. Usually that’s on Sundays. I love to have a nice dinner with my family on Sundays. We can all sit and talk about the weekend and regroup before the week starts. Pot roasts are great because you get incredible meat with potatoes and carrots all in one dish!
MEAL #6 CHEDDAR BACON CHICKEN TENDERS
Cheddar Bacon Chicken Tenders are a staple in our house. My kids love chicken tenders but I prefer to make them myself rather than give them the frozen kind. These are a favorite because of the cheese and the bacon. My kids would eat bacon all day long if they could. Smart kids!
MEAL #7 BREADED PORK CHOPS
We ate a lot of pork chops growing up. They’re a big comfort food for my husband and I so I usually have some in my fridge or freezer. These Breaded Pork Chops are a staple in our house and I like to change them up with different sauces. It keeps things fresh but we really love a good gravy and mashed potatoes.
Alight! Make sure to grab your shopping list and menu plan printable down below. I can’t wait to see how yours turn out this week. Don’t forget to tag those pics #RHFood so we can see how it’s going!
