Sweet, fizzy, and delightfully simple, this Rose Spritzer is sure to be your girl’s night cocktail of choice this summer!
Summer is here and so are the recipes for fruity summertime drinks. Sometimes I’m craving a classic (and delicious) pina colada, but sometimes I’m looking for something a little bit on the lighter side.
That’s where my favorite Rosé Spritzer comes in! This simple 2-ingredient cocktail is perfect for summer. It’s keto-friendly but sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Rose and club soda are the perfect refreshing combo!

Is it just me, or does everyone suddenly feel like they’re one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when they’re sipping on some Rose wine? There’s just something so delightfully fancy about a glass of rose and I simply love it.
The only thing I love more than a glass of rose is a rose wine spritzer! Take your plain glass of rose and give it that little extra oomph it deserves! This rose spritzer recipe couldn’t be any simpler and really, when it comes to cocktails, it couldn’t be any lighter. Forget all the added sugar of fruity mixed drinks and get sipping on this simply sweet, and simply scrumptious spritzer!
What is a Rose Spritzer?
Spritzers are one of my absolute favorite drinks to have in the summer because they’re cold, fizzy, and completely refreshing. They’re the best way for me to enjoy a glass of wine on a hot summer day. Spritzers are simply super cold wine mixed with club soda or sparkling water. Who doesn’t love a little fizz in their glass?
For this yummy rose wine cocktail spritzer recipe you’ll need:
Ice – a good spritzer is always SUPER cold. You’ll want your rose wine chilled and ice to pour your drink over. I personally love using crushed ice or ice nuggets, but cubes work just fine too!
Rose Wine – the best thing about a rose spritzer is that you can literally use any variety of rose wine. Whatever you’ve got on hand will taste amazing when bubbled up with some club soda!
Club Soda – I personally prefer to use club soda in my rose wine spritzers, but sparkling water (aka seltzer) works too!
How to make a Rose Spritzer
The BEST thing about this rose spritzer recipe is you can crave this cocktail one minute and the next minute be sitting pool-side sipping it! No crazy bartending skills needed… just pour, and drink!
- Fill your favorite wine glass or fun tall cocktail glass with ice. You want your rose spritzer to be super cold and refreshing.
- Pour 3 ounces of rosé wine into the glass and top with 3 ounces of club soda.
- Garnish your beautiful little spritzer with a fresh strawberry and you’re ready to start drinking!
I’ve found that the 50/50 ratio of wine to club soda is really the sweet spot for all kinds of spritzers. You can make a rose spritzer with it, a white wine spritzer (another one of my favorite cocktails!), or even a red wine spritzer!
How many calories in a Rose Spritzer?
A rose spritzer is one of my favorite summertime drinks not only because it tastes delicious, but because it is totally a guilt-free cocktail!
Rose wine typically has about 25 calories per ounce. So for this recipe which uses 3 ounces, it comes out to about 70 calories. The only mixer added to the rose wine is club soda, and guess what? Club soda is calorie-free!
Want some more light summer cocktails? My two other go-to recipes are this delicious Champagne Lemonade and a vitamin C-packed Kiwi Crusher!
What can you do with Rose wine?
Rose wine spritzers aren’t the only yummy way to spruce up your rose! Rose is super versatile and mixes SO well in other cocktails too! Two of my favorite ways to use rose are by mixing up a batch of Orange Strawberry Rose Sangria and making some Strawberry Peach Frose (yup….a wine SLUSHIE!)
