Put this Jalapeno Ranch Dressing on everything! It’s the best veggie dip, salad dressing, or spicy sauce to add to any meal with just one step!
I love to snack on vegetables when it is nice outside, but I also love to dip them in something yummy. I found Jalapeno Ranch Dressing and immediately fell in love! It’s a delicious veggie dip, but I love it just as much on a hearty taco salad.
It is fresh, tasty, and the perfect addition to a veggie tray. It has a twist on traditional ranch dressings and it has been a big hit with everyone that has tried it!
I have doubled and tripled the recipe and it disappeared quickly both times. Not only is this homemade jalapeno ranch dressing delicious, but it is also really easy to make. I will be making this dip many times this summer!
Ingredients
BUTTERMILK: It’s just not ranch dressing without buttermilk for me. I mix it with mayonnaise for a super creamy dressing that holds up on your fav veggies, too.
JALAPENO: I love fresh jalapenos and would put them on everything if I could. Make sure to remove the stem and seeds before adding them to the food processor!
LIME JUICE:Â To brighten up this jalapeno ranch dressing recipe, I add a little lime juice! It really brings this homemade ranch to life.
How to Make Jalapeno Ranch Dressing
There’s truly only one step to this recipe – dump and blend! Mix the buttermilk, mayo, jalapeno, garlic, green onions, lime juice, and cilantro in a food processor until it’s totally combined.
Check the seasoning and add some salt and pepper to your taste. Then give the dressing one more whirl. That’s it!
This recipe makes about 1 cup of jalapeno cilantro ranch dressing, but it’s so easy to make a double, triple, or even quadruple batch! We almost always have some in the fridge at home. Just pop the dressing into a mason jar and it’ll keep for 5-7 days.
How Many Calories in Jalapeno Ranch Dressing?
I love ranch dressing, but sometimes it can have more calories than the salad I’m pouring it over! That’s just not fair.
For this jalapeno ranch dressing, calories are kept to a minimum at 107 calories for 2 tablespoons! To compare, the Litehouse jalapeno ranch dressing lists its calorie count at 110 calories for 2 tablespoons.
This dressing is on par with the store-bought stuff but tastes SO much better with all the fresh ingredients!
If you use full-fat ingredients, the calories will go up. I promise you’ll still have a super creamy ranch dip using low-fat ingredients.
