We’ve put together a weekly meal plan with a shopping list to make your week a bit easier! I’ve got dinner for 7 nights planned so you don’t have to worry!
Meal Plan for the Week of February 8th!
We’re onto our second week of meal plans! What did you guys think of last weeks menu? Did you like the shopping list? What else would you like to see? This week I’m including a couple bonus desserts. It felt like a must with Valentine’s Day being on Saturday. Are you getting out of the house for a date or making a special dinner at home? I’ve tried to include dinner ideas that will make the littles happy if they’re staying in with a sitter and picked some dinners that are perfect for a special night with your loved one!
Meal #1 One Pan Chicken & Vegetables
Just look at all the color in One Pan Chicken & Vegetables! I love making this on Mondays or on my busiest day of the week. All the color really brightens up my mood and I LOVE fresh basil! It’s so easy to make this for the whole family and then I don’t have to worry about a ton of dishes after. Have it on it’s own or paired with some pasta and you’re good to go!
Meal #2 Turkey Taco Salad
Taco Salad is always a big hit with the entire family! I like to make it up because I can usually sneak some more veggies into my kids with tacos so they’re top on my list. Plus, when I make them on Tuesday my boys go crazy because of The Lego Movie and Taco Tuesday. If they’re having a picky night I can always pop it into a tortilla and they are good to go!
Meal #3 Cheesy Baked Rigatoni
Cheesy Baked Rigatoni is my ultimate comfort food for me! My husband and kids go crazy for spaghetti but I can’t eat it all the time. Baked pastas are some of my favorite easy dinners. They’re not hard to make, can be made ahead of time and it’s so easy to make two when you make one! I always pop the second one in the freezer to have on hand for busy days. If you have a busy day in your future you may want to make two when you make it this week to have ready to go for later.
Meal #4 Crock Pot French Onion Soup
The other day we were out to eat and I ordered French onion soup. It was not exactly the best. 🙁 So, I’ve decided to make Crock Pot French Onion Soup at home! This is truly one of the easiest soups to make but one of the best! It has everything, warm broth, amazing caramelized onions, bread and melty cheese! When you can make it in the crock pot it gets even easier!
Meal #5 Slow Cooker French Dip
The week of Valentine’s Day I have to include Crock Pot French Dip. It’s one of my husband’s favorites! I don’t make it often. When we go out to eat and he sees it on the menu he will inevitably order it. There really isn’t any reason that I don’t make it that often. It’s easy and tastes so good! So for Valentine’s week I’m packing the menu with foods my sweetheart likes.
Meal # 6 Cheddar Bacon Chicken Tenders
Cheddar Bacon Chicken Tenders have to be in this week’s meal plan. They are an easy dinner that pleases everyone! I mean, bacon! I put these on the meal plan because they work for two occasions. If you’re having a date night with your sweetheart and need dinner for the kids, these are perfect! If you just need an easy dinner that everyone will love, here you go!
Meal #7 Garlic Roasted Shrimp with Spinach Artichoke Pasta
Garlic Roasted Shrimp with Spinach Artichoke Pasta is such an easy special occasion dinner for a date night in! You can have this on the table in 15 minutes and get back to your date night fast! Everyone loves shrimp, pasta, spinach and artichokes so you can’t go wrong with this one!
Dessert Bonus Homemade Oreos
Homemade Oreos are a must make for Valentine’s Day week! We can’t get enough of these anytime of year but at Valentine’s they are extra special. My littlest monkey likes to get in the kitchen with me and make the cookies and cut out all the hearts. I add a dash of cinnamon that makes the chocolate cookies really great!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone and I hope that you like this weeks menu and let us know if you’d like to see anything else next week! Don’t forget to tags you meal plan creations with #RHfood on social media.
