Ingredients
Crust: A can of regular refrigerated biscuits inspired this spectacularly simple pizza recipe!
Sauce: Any pizza sauce works great here—canned, store-bought, in a glass jar, or your favorite homemade—whatever you like best!
Toppings: Shredded mozzarella cheese, diced or mini pepperoni, and sausage crumbles are the recipe choices here, but the sky is the limit! Onion, mushroom, green pepper, ham, bacon, pineapple, cheddar, ground beef, spicy peppers – make what you love best!
Seasoning: Garnish with some oregano over the finished pizzas or sprinkle a little into the sauce (optional) before adding the toppings for a more authentic Italian taste!
How to Make Air Fryer Biscuit Pizzas
STEP ONE: Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F. Place the biscuits on parchment paper and flatten each until they are about 4 inches long. Arrange them in the air fryer basket so they are not touching. (Depending on your air fryer’s size, you may need to cook in batches.)
STEP TWO: Spread a tablespoon of sauce over the top of each biscuit. Next, sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of shredded mozzarella to each biscuit pizza. Then, top the cheese with pepperoni and/or sausage crumbles and sprinkle with some dried oregano.
STEP THREE: Air fry for 4-5 minutes at 370 degrees F until the biscuits are golden and the cheese is hot and bubbly. Remove with a spatula or tongs. Repeat for any remaining biscuits. Serve hot with a crispy green salad, and enjoy!
Tips for Success
- Keep the toppings small. Since these pizzas are small, tiny toppings are good. This goes for any additional toppings you might add – dice bell peppers, mince onions, slice and quarter mushrooms, and crumble bacon.
- Never use non-stick sprays in your air fryer, as they will break down the lining of your basket. The best sprays are non-aerosol olive oil or avocado oil.
- The thinner you roll out the biscuit dough, the crisper the crust. So, if you like a thick, flaky crust, follow the recipe instructions as listed. If you prefer a crisper crust, use a knife to divide the biscuit in half (horizontally) for a thinner crust. Roll the halved biscuits flatter for an extra crispy crust, poke holes in the dough with a fork, and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side before adding the toppings and cooking as directed.
How Do You Reheat Pizza in the Air Fryer?
Finally, we have a way to reheat leftover pizza that’s as hot, crispy, and delicious as it came out of the pizza oven!
The key is to preheat the air fryer at 370 degrees F for 6-8 minutes first. Once hot, add the cold pizza slices to the air fryer (use paper liners or parchment for best results). Leave a little room between each slice for good airflow and cook for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the crust has crisped up nicely (Timing will depend on the thickness of the crust. Add more time in 1-minute increments if needed.
The cheesy biscuit pizzas will reheat in the same manner but will take even less time – 2-3 minutes should do it!
Can You Air Fry Canned Biscuits?
Absolutely! I was a skeptic at first, but I’ve become a believer! Preheat the air fryer to 330 degrees F. Place biscuits in the air fryer on a liner or parchment paper, leaving space between each one. Insert a fork into the top of each one, leaving tiny holes. Air fry for 5-6 minutes (up to 8, depending on the size of your biscuits and your particular air fryer). The result is light, fluffy biscuits with a slightly crisp exterior and a soft, warm inside. Amazing!

Notes
- If you like a thick, flaky crust, follow the recipe instructions as listed.

- For an extra crispy crust, roll the halved biscuits flatter, poke holes in the dough with a fork, and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side before adding the toppings and cooking as directed.
- Reheat pizzas in the microwave for 30 seconds or in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350 degrees F.
