Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups are a fun way to get the kids in the kitchen, making and eating a protein packed snack to get them fueling their body for playtime!
SNOW!!!!!! If you’re just finding Real Housemoms you may not know I’m in the Portland, Oregon area. We LOVE it here. We’ve been here for over 3 years now and it’s our favorite! We love being surrounded by all the green after living for 10 years in the desert of Arizona. Don’t get me wrong the desert can be really pretty, especially in the spring when everything blooms into the most bright amazing colors! I always missed the seasons though! If you read my posts from the beginning of each season they will usually tell you that THAT particular season is my favorite! I love them all so not seeing them was hard. So, back to snow! We got a lot last night! I’m talking more than I remember getting in the 3 years we’ve been here, so you know we’re going out for a lot of sledding and snowman building! When we come back in we’re snacking on Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups to refuel! These roll ups are one of my family’s favorite healthy snacks recipes!
The boys and I love them! They are simple to make so my little chef can make them for us all, they taste amazing and we add a little bit of chocolate to make them feel like even more of a treat! They are so great! I love the peanut butter and banana combination. I grew up eating peanut butter, mayo and banana sandwiches (sounds wierd but they’re so good)! I can’t get my kids to try them so we went peanut butter banana and chocolate chip instead. It was a really great decision! We first made these over the summer at my mom’s house in California. They were perfect and helped the kids get more energy for spending the entire day in the pool! OK! I gotta run so I can get out there and start sledding!
