Ingredients
Veggies: This slaw uses fresh broccoli and purple onion, finely chopped (by hand or in the food processor.)
Bacon: Smoky bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled. To make this recipe extra easy, microwave slices on a paper towel.
Dressing: Mayonnaise is the foundation for this dressing, which also includes a little apple cider vinegar for tanginess and pineapple juice for sweetness. The combo is perfect!
Seasoning: Salt & pepper is all you need!
How to Make Bacon Broccoli Slaw
STEP ONE: Chop the broccoli into florets and pop them into a food processor. Cover and pulse until you have small pieces. You can many them small or leave the slaw a bit chunky.
STEP TWO: Transfer the broccoli slaw to a large salad bowl. Then mix in the diced onion and crumbled bacon.
STEP THREE: In a small mixing bowl, whisk the mayo, apple cider vinegar, and pineapple juice together until smooth. Season with salt & pepper, whisk, and check the seasoning. Pour the dressing over the broccoli slaw.

Ingredients
- 1 head broccoli (or 4 cups broccoli slaw from store)
- ½ pound bacon cooked and crumbled
- ¼ cup red onion peeled and diced
Dressing
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Trim the broccoli and cut it into florets. Add the broccoli to a food processor and pulse until it's in small pieces.
- Add the broccoli slaw, bacon and onion to a large salad bowl and mix to combine.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and pineapple juice. Season with salt and pepper, check the taste and adjust as needed.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli slaw and toss until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
