Slow Cooker Garlic Mushrooms are an easy to make, delicious side dish combination of button mushrooms with white wine, garlic, and fresh herbs!
My obsession with mushrooms is alive and well. There was once a time when I really really didn’t like mushrooms. Scratch that. I downright hated them. My excuse was always that it was a texture thing, but the truth is, I never really gave them a shot.
Fast forward many a moon and I had a foodie awakening, of sorts. I made up my mind that I was going to be open-minded and let go of my predisposed notions concerning certain foods.
Best. Decision. Ever.
Mushrooms are no longer on my hated list. As a matter of fact, I’d say they’re in my top 10 fave foods ever.
Top five. Boom.
Which brings us to these lovely Slow Cooker Garlic Mushrooms. Lovely isn’t the first word that usually comes to mind when I think of mushrooms, but the fact that they are white wine-laced and seasoned with aromatic fresh herbs…very lovely, indeed.
You’ll love these little mushroom morsels alongside steak, pork chops, or chicken. They are one of my must-try best crock pot recipes!

Sounds yummy! Can this be cooked on low for 8 hours? Without stirring? (Working mom)

I would think so. HIGH cook time is usually almost double LOW cook time.
