Hi Jennifer
I have never left a comment for a recipe before today,! BUT both your testimonial and the best oatmeal chocolate cookie recipe find me unable to resist, Grinding
the oatmeal allows for the taste and goodness of oatmeal in this recipe without the gritty texture.
And they are sooo soft! Thanks so much.
PS. Next time I’m adding dried cranberries.

This is by far my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. The only thing I changed was I added more chocolate chips; 1 cup of mini’s. Tonight, I tried a twist to it. I measure out the normal size dough ball, split it in half, placed broken pieces of pretzels and a 1/2 of a caramel (cut width wise), covered it with the rest of the dough, and rolled it into a ball. I baked at the same temperature and for the same amount of time and they turned out amazing.
