Don’t you just love those friends that you are so close they are now “family?” We have friends that are now our family that we call the Wolf pack. My husband worked with Dave and when he and his wife and daughter moved out to Arizona from California they talked us into moving also. Their daughter Meg was only in 8th grade when we moved here and now she’s in her early twenties! YIKES!!!! 😐 When she turned 21 we took a trip out to Las Vegas for the weekend just the girls and had a blast. The plan this year was to have the same girls over to the house to have drinks and yummy food and look at the pictures and video from that weekend but then life decided to get in the way and we didn’t get to do it. 🙁 For the trip Meg put together little goody bags for us with inserts for our heels, mud masks, Motrin and some other items that were perfect for a weekend in Vegas but one of my favorite things that she gave us were matching flip flops. They were all hot pink with zebra print ribbon bows and they were adorable! When I was planning the yummies for her party I wanted to take that hot pink and zebra idea and use it for our theme. I will share with you as time goes by some of the other ideas I had but I wanted to share this with you now!
Meg’s Hot Pink Summer is the perfect drink for a party because you just mix up a pitcher and then your guests can pour as the party goes and no one is stuck bar tending all night. You could even make a mocktail with this recipe just be sure to replace the vodka and triple sec with water. This is so delicious and because you make it with sugar free lemonade mix it helps to save some of the calories soooooooo more room for food right?!
