This BOOZY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE MILKSHAKE is EPIC!! Strawberries, Cake Vodka, and ACTUAL cake topped with more cake, whipped cream, and a strawberry! You can have your cake and drink it too!
A few years ago, I went to Burger Bar in Vegas, and was treated to something that surely only the Vegas Gods could come up with . . . . a milkshake with BOOZE in it!!
With only a few days in Vegas and tons of things to see and do, my husband and I did what was only natural . . . . we went to Burger Bar twice. Honestly, we probably would have gone more if there had been more time.
But epic milkshakes with BOOZE in them should not be limited to those who are on vacation without their kids. Clearly, you should be able to have them at home too!
I’m here to help!
Have you guys tried Cake Vodka yet? It is soooooo good, and it honestly does taste like cake. There are about a million fun things that you can do with it. (One of my favorites is simple, just orange soda and cake vodka, YUMMY!!) And when I was dreaming up this Strawberry Shortcake Milkshake, I knew that it would be perfect.
Naturally, to be an EPIC milkshake it also has to have actual cake in it. If you can find the cute little shortcakes that they sell next to fresh strawberries, use those. If you can’t, just grab an angel food cake. You blend it up with the vodka, frozen strawberries (fresh would work too!), a little milk, and some vanilla ice cream. Top it off with another slice of cake (!!!) whip cream and a fresh strawberry.
Epically good, boozy, and so pretty too! I sort of want this to be my birthday cake. 😉
