My awesome parents came out here earlier in the month and helped us move into our new home here in Oregon. We were pretty lucky to have them here especially because it was my Dad’s birthday! They were such a huge help with the unpacking, moving furniture and painting, it was great! We did manage to get out to dinner to celebrate my Dad’s birthday though. We went to an amazing Italian restaurant called Mingo. While I couldn’t decide what to drink my Mom got her’s. She ordered this drink called the Bella and it was amazing! It was refreshing and tasty and perfect!!! It uses a liqueur called St. Germain, an elderberry liqueur, that my mom first introduced me to in November. She puts a splash of it in champagne and it’s great. This drink comes together really fast. You could make this with half a lemon or a whole. I like it with more lemon flavor but I’ve made it with a half and it was good too. Enjoy!

I went looking for St. Germain today. $36! Ouch!

There is a bit of a price tag on it but you don’t have to use a lot for the cocktail. 🙂
