A touch of elderberry liqueur gives this Saint Champagne Cocktail recipe a delightful floral flavor!
If I had to choose a favorite way to celebrate any special occasion or holiday, I would have to pick brunch. I mean, let’s face it, you’ve got an assortment of both breakfast and lunch dishes, tons of desserts, and champagne. OK, so it’s mostly the champagne I’m attracted to (don’t judge, I have teenage girls).
I love a good mimosa any day, however, it’ also nice to switch things up a bit. A couple of years ago I made these champagne floats and absolutely fell in love with them.
Recently, I discovered St Germain, an elderberry liqueur. Feeling a little adventurous, I decided to use some in a champagne cocktail recipe.
The liqueur gives the champagne a light floral flavor, making it perfect for a late breakfast or brunch. The best part, other than the flavor, is how simple it is to make.
Ingredients
- 1 750 lm bottle brut champagne chilled
- 2 ounces elderberry liqueur {I used St Germain}
- 4 fluted champagne glasses
Instructions
- Pour 1/2 ounce elderberry liqueur into each glass
- Fill with champagne
- Enjoy
