Never run out of ideas this summer to keep your kids busy by keeping this printable Summer Bucket List handy!
“So, what are we going to do today?” are the 8 words that I hear repeatedly throughout the summer. And it usually begins the day after school lets out. My kids want to be kept busy, busy, busy all summer long. But this girl wants to relax all summer long. So with 2 different outlooks on what makes a great summer, I need to have a plan if we are all going to survive the summer together. That’s where the summer bucket list comes in!
Well, I like to think of it as a summer activities list but for those of you who thrive on adventure and being on the go, this is a great bucket list to work your way through this summer.
A good portion of activities on this list are very inexpensive or free. They are things that you can do together as a family or with some friends. There are some great indoor activities for those rainy days as well as plenty of things to do outdoors.
This is my go-to list for the million dollar “what are we going to do today?” question. I can take a peek at this at the beginning of each week and choose a few things to do with my kids. It definitely helps to have a plan for the summer and wouldn’t it be fun to take a look at it at the end of the summer and see how much you got done? Also, it couldn’t hurt to serve as a reminder to your children of all of the activities they did when the summer is over.
What does your summer bucket list look like? What are some activities you plan to do this summer that didn’t make it to my summer bucket list? I’d love to hear about it!
