Strawberry Gin Fizz is a delicious way to enjoy your fresh summer strawberries in a cocktail. Gin and St. Germain combine with the strawberry flavor for the perfect summer refresher!
We went strawberry picking last weekend. It was such a nice day. I’ve been under the weather but I didn’t want to waste a weekend stuck inside so I took some medicine and made sure we headed out the door. We moved here at the end of summer last year so we didn’t get to enjoy it. I was stuck in AZ with 120 degree temps and packing up the house. Not fun! So this year I’m determined to make the most of the summer and see and do as much as possible. A summer MUST in Oregon is berry picking. There are so many berries here that they even grow wild! Our strawberry picking led us to a farm and a trip home with more strawberries than I’ve ever had before!
After a day in the sun my husband and I decided to relax out back and enjoy a cocktail. I made us these Strawberry Gin Fizz cocktails and they were just perfect. They’re not too sweet but just right and refreshing. Even if you don’t think you’re a gin fan (I’m not) I think you’ll like this. The St. Germain for me adds just the right amount of sweet and takes away the pine tree taste of gin. 🙂 What are your summer plans?
