The SPICED APPLE POMTINI is a delicious cocktail to help celebrate fall or Thanksgiving alike! It a great twist on a martini that your guests will love!
I’m in heaven! It’s finally feeling like fall here in the Portland area. We had some warm weather that creeped back in but this week there are more leaves starting to change and the weather has been rainy and temperatures are lower! This is my favorite!!!!!! We even had a fire one night. My husband and I couldn’t wait to get warm and cozy by the fire. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t quite cold enough for the fire but we couldn’t wait! We have a wood burning fireplace and I love the smell and crack of the wood burning. We just scheduled a delivery of our firewood for the winter. Last year we learned how important good wood it. Moving from the desert we thought wood was wood was wood. We were wrong. Our wood didn’t burn as long or as hot as we needed and it may have taken a few months to get a fire starting technique down but we did. Now we have a beautiful mix of hard and soft woods and it’s been seasoned (drying) for 2 years. This winter is going to be great! Not only that but we’re getting a new furnace and having gas run to our house!!! Last year we may have spent a small fortune to take the edge off (I can’t call it heat) our house with our heat pump. This year we’re gonna save money and still be able to feel the tips of our noses! It was a joke that we had to bundle up to go inside the house. I’m so excited!!!
This drink is to celebrate fall and soon my new gas furnace!!! It was delish! This Spiced Apple Pomtini would make a great pre Thanksgiving drink. It’s fun to serve simple cocktails to guests with all the yummy appetizers that you made the day before. The pomegranate in this drink is great and then it’s mixed with apple and ginger infused vodka and it becomes a great fall perfect cocktail! When a drink is only two ingredients it’s so easy to have your guests make their own or you could make up a pitcher. Just keep the proportions the same and have an ice bucket near by. I served with a slice of green apple and loved the colors together!
