Soft and chewy Peppermint Nutella Cookies bursting with hazelnut chocolate with just the right hint of peppermint in every bite make the ideal holiday cookie that everyone will rave about!
The Christmas season is magical. The lights, the music, the decorations, and my family’s favorite, the cookies! Every since I was a little girl, it has been a tradition to load up plates and plates of all our favorite Christmas goodies and bring them to friends and neighbors. Making the goodies while singing along to Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” by The Carpenters, “Silent Night” by Ella Fitzgerald, and many more are some of my most cherished memories. My family never missed a year to spread this good cheer and we were always excited to have friends and neighbors repay the deliciousness with plates of their own goodies.

Our Christmas plates were always loaded with Mom’s Famous Mint Brownies, Rice Krispie Wreaths (with ornaments out of skittles and bows out of red vines), Sugar Cookies, Thumbprint Cookies, and S’more Cookies and now I have a new favorite to add to the list, Peppermint Nutella Cookies! When my husband first tasted these Nutella Cookies, his first words were, “Are you kidding me?!” No, I would not kid about something as important as Christmas Cookies, they are just that good! I guarantee these Peppermint Nutella Cookies will fly off the plate and be a new favorite with all your friends and family.
These Peppermint Nutella Cookies are super soft and chewy with a whole cup of Nutella mixed right into the batter. To infuse them with peppermint without tasting over the top or too much like a candy cane, I added one cup of Andes’ Creme De Menthe Baking Bits Baking Chips and they are, in my humble opinion, Christmas Perfection.
