My Dream Kitchen

I found everything I need to design my dream kitchen at Samsung CES 2017! From the Hub 2.o to the double oven with Flex Duo I’m in love!!!

Earlier this month I was asked to attend CES 2017 in Las Vegas by Samsung! They wanted me to check out everything they were showing off in their home appliance booth and tell you all about it. Can I just tell you I was super excited! I’m a huge Samsung fan! I have so much from my phone to my laptop to my refrigerator!!! So it was an easy fit! Everything I’m going to show you is still absolutely my opinion, as always!!

I did a Facebook live for them and got to give you all an early tour of what they had going on and it was a blast. I have done a lot of really neat things because of the blog but this was the first time my friends and family were a bit jealous of me!

Casey and I are dreaming of building a custom house in the next few years. We love our house but if I could design a house that would fit my work from home business and our family perfectly I’d be in heaven. We have a few years before that’s a reality and in the meantime I want to remodel our kitchen. We’ve done some work like our backsplash and painting our cabinest but it does need more work. So as I walked through the booth I got so many great ideas and my mind was racing. All of the Samsung appliances are beautiful but beyond that they are insanely functional for our crazy lives!

I constantly feel like I have way too many things running in my mind to be able to focus on things. Sort of that slow down your computer gets when you have too many tabs open! As a mom my memory is running at capacity. Then I got a demonstration from Chris, the Samsung product specialitst, about the Hub 2.0. It’s the tablet in the fridge. I was a little skeptical about wanting a screen in my fridge but then I got to play around with. You guys! I could instantly see how I could use this to organize my family! I was blown away! It has voice recognition so I can have it read me a recipe with out using my messy hands! I loved that we could have a calendar for everyone in the family, leave notes for each other and I can see inside the fridge from the store on my phone AND I can set expiration dates for the things I have in there! I was totally just talking to my friend Rachael about how we need something that could do that the week before!!!! Think about all the food waste you can elimanate and the money you can save! I’m all in on that!!

My next must have was the double oven!!! This double oven can actually be a triple oven because of the Flex Duo. In the upper oven there is a divider that allows you to set two tempuratures in the one oven!! Seriously guys!!!! Think of the holidays!!! If you don’t need that but you need two full size oven you can remove it just like an oven rack and you’ve got two full ovens!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! It’s seriously like they reached into my brain and made my dreams come true you guys!!!! I need this in my life!!

There is also the gas cooktop of my dreams. It has 5 burners and lights to tell me if I turned it on. There are times that I have seriously thought I was heating a pan but I never turned the stove on! It’s all those open tabs in my brain guys! Then there is this super power!! I can check from my phone if I left it on! It’s connected to the wifi you guys!!! WIFI!!!!! I have those panic attacks where I can’t remember if the stove is on or not. I’m pretty sure I turned it off but I can’t remember actually doing it so I’m not sure and now I have to call my neighbor, have them break into the house and check to make sure it’s off or call the fire department because my house is on fire! That’s how my mom brain works! I’m pretty sure that all that time panicing has taken years off of my life! Once I get this beautiful stove in my kitchen I’ll be one happy calm mamma!

I also got to go to the Club des Chefs event that Samsung put on. There were bites of food prepared by Michelin rated chefs, Christofer Kostow and Daniel Boulud! So I was pretty much in heaven!

Just look at that menu! It was amazing! So amazing that I didn’t wait to take photos of it all but I did get a quick pic of the beet salad before devouring it! It’s seriously was a work of art and tasted even better!

The kitchen wasn’t the only thing I fell in love with! Once the new year hit my husband and I were determined to get more organized in the house and for us that starts with the laundry room! We need to update that room and make it more funtional. I think we’re going to do a laundry room makeover. I’ve been brainstorming and researching and I think I know what we’re going to do. One thing I do know is it will totally have the new FlexWash and FlexDry! It’s basically a 4 in 1 system! OK so there’s a small washer on top of the front load washer and then a small dryer on top of the dryer! They’re great for forgotten items that make up a small load or what I’m super excited about, delicates! I may have a bit of a Lularoe leggings addiction and to keep them as soft as they are they have to be washed and dried delicately. Would you guys be interested in seeing my laundry room makeover?
