Let’s talk Valentine’s Day wear…..we are sharing HOW TO WEAR REDÂ for the big day, without looking like a giant Valentine card!
Hearts, flowers, and love……yup, Valentine’s Day is on the horizon! If you’re like us, you’re so busy planning Valentine’s Day activities for your KIDS…..you’ve forgotten about your own day of love festivities.
Red is one of my favorite date night colors, even when it’s not Valentine’s Day. However, if not done right, red can become overwhelming. Today I’m sharing my favorite tips to maximize your favorite wardrobe “look at me!” color without going overboard.
TIPS FOR WEARING RED
One piece only: Red is a standout color. Unless you want to look over the top, pair it with neutrals. Black, denim, cream…….let one red piece be the exciting piece in your outfit. (Bonus fashion points for red pants, they’re ADORABLE!)
Try red accessories:Â Accessories are the easiest way to incorporate red without looking like a card. Plus, they’re wearable year-round. Red earrings, a red purse, red shoes…..all pieces you will be glad you have in your wardrobe!
Red Lipstick:Â Always a great choice, a simple outfit looks stylish when you add red lips!
