HOW TO WEAR PINK
Shoes: Pink shoes are a great way to work pink into your wardrobe without going full blown girly. Wear pink sneakers with jeans and a white tee, or for something more spring-ish wear pink clogs with a maxi skirt. Bonus tip: Mommy and me outfits with pink shoes are our FAVORITES!
Kimonos or Cardigans: A pink kimono or cardigan is a great way to add a pop of pink to a more neutral outfit. It’s also an easy way to bring darker colors into this season or to add a bit of fun to a simple little black dress.
A Deeper Hue: Remember, pink doesn’t have to mean bubblegum pink. Experiment with shades of pink that you feel comfortable in. We love salmon, coral, and deep pinks or rose colored pieces. They look a little more mature but still add that pop of pink to any outfit.
Patterns: Scared of pink? Try a patterned piece with pink in it. Pink stripes or pink polka dots are easy to wear…..and look GREAT on everyone!
Contrasting Colors: Scared of looking too girly? Trying pairing pink with a contrasting color. Pink looks great with eggplant, brown, black, and deep green. Any of these colors will help your pink pieces look a little more stylish and mature and a little less like you’re playing dress-up.
