These free printable Thanksgiving placecards are the perfect way to personalize your dinner table for the big day. There are two designs available and they’re simple to personalize for your guests.
Whenever we had Thanksgiving at my uncle’s house when I was a kid, I just loved all of the attention to detail he put into the table. My favorite? The placecards. It was always fun to dance around the table looking for my name…and praying it was by a fun family member (hee hee)! My uncle passed away years ago, but I still have the ceramic placecards he would use year after year. They’re a bit chippy now, but I keep them for sentimental purposes (y’all, I even have the special pen that went with them…it’s at least 30 years old!).
Even though I can’t really use those old placecards, I still like to continue the use with paper ones around my own table every year. Thanksgiving is now always at my home…and it’s my favorite day of the year! And now, I watch my own kids and their cousins eye-balling the table to see who they get to sit next to (I’m sure they’re all just praying it’s me, of course. Wink!).
Below are the ones I’ve designed just for you to use around your own table. There are two different designs available. Print them onto cardstock, cut out, fold and use. You can either write on them with a pen or print on them in an image design program, like PicMonkey or Photoshop Elements, or similar. Click below to download yours.
I’m super excited to be over here contributing to Real Housemoms…what an awesome blog! I hope you each have a fabulously delicious and blessed Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to be back with something fun next month, too!

These are really pretty! It’s a fun tradition to have place cards. We’ve done it off and on with my in-laws, but never with my own family. Maybe I’ll try it this year!
