These no bake CHOCOLATE CHIP ENERGY BITES are perfect for when you want something sweet, but don’t want all the sugar!
I absolutely love energy bites and think they are one of the greatest inventions ever. These Chocolate Chip Energy Bites? Holy Toledo, I only wish I knew they existed sooner. You would never guess that they were one of my healthy snack recipes!
I love taking these on runs with me and popping a few when I feel like I need an extra boost. These Chocolate Chip Energy Bites are packed full of flaxseed, oatmeal, coconut flakes, and are sweetened with honey and chocolate chips, so you don’t feel too overloaded. They’re great for when you’re trying to watch your diet, but need your sugar fix!
They pretty much taste like a cookie and I let my two-year-old gobble them up because there are a lot worse things out there that she should be eating.
To add a little more oomph to these, you can also throw in some chia seeds. I love those things, but they get stuck in my teeth. Boo. Good luck with your healthy eating adventures this year! I hope it fairs better for you than it did for me in 2015. #yikes
