Ingredients

Dry Ingredients: You will need a box of original Bisquick mix and your favorite box of brownie mix to make these pancakes. I recommend regular brown mix, not with pudding.
Wet Ingredients: You will also need milk and eggs for this recipe.
Toppings: Set out chocolate syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles, and more to make the best pancakes!
How to Make Brownie Pancakes
STEP ONE: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. If you’re not using a nonstick griddle/skillet, then be sure to grease it well. In a large bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix, brownie mix, milk, and eggs.

STEP TWO: Pour a few dollops of batter onto the hot griddle, leaving space for each pancake to spread a little. Flip the pancakes once bubbles appear or the edges look dry. Cook for a few minutes on the other side, until cooked through.

STEP THREE: Plate the pancakes and garnish the stack with chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and whipped cream, and enjoy!

Tips for Success
- Take these pancakes over the chocolaty top and add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the batter! Feel free to also add toppings like chopped fresh fruit, nuts, and spreads like Nutella.
- Store the leftover dry brownie mix in an airtight container for the next time you make these brownies! The mix will stay good for as long as the date on the box.
- Once the pancakes have cooled to room temperature, they can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. Reheat the pancakes in the microwave for a few seconds at a time until warm again.

Can I make pancakes with brownie batter?
Brownie mix can absolutely be used to make pancake batter! If you’ve already made up your brownie batter and want to turn it into pancakes, then the same applies. You will need to add pancake mix to the brownie mix or batter so that you have all of the right leavening and rising agents to produce fluffy pancakes. Once you have combined these two mixes, you can create the most magical and delicious chocolate brownie pancakes!

Can I put brownie batter in a waffle maker?
If you love all of those nooks and crannies for holding the chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and other goodies, then you’re going to love the fact that you can make waffles using brownie batter! Mix up the brownie batter according to the instructions on the box or in a recipe, and then pour a little over 1/2 cup, or an appropriate amount based on the size of your waffle iron, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the steam stops. Enjoy these brownie waffles with all of your favorite toppings!
