HOTH CHOCOLATE is a delicious white hot chocolate to help warm you up after patrolling Hoth, or you know, hanging Christmas lights!
I can’t believe that we’re almost to the premier of The Force Awakens!!! We’re big fans of Star Wars in my family. My husband had a ton of the action figures when he was a kid. He was a very careful little boy apparently because we still have a lot of his Star Wars toys from the 70’s and 80’s. Score for me and my photos! Now back to this amazing Hoth Chocolate!
Our little guys are going up big Star Wars fans too, and my husband let’s them look at his toys but VERY carefully! 🙂 Did you know that the guns from those early toys are worth more than the figures sometimes! Anyway, we have our tickets for opening night so we don’t have to worry about any spoilers. I’m VERY excited and so are my guys! To celebrate I made some Hoth Chocolate, which is White Hot Chocolate and it was a hit!
For the boys we topped it off with whipped cream and then some marshmallows to really up the sugar factor! 🙂 It was a fun treat but not something they get a lot. For my husband and I we decided to spike our drinks. We added 4 oz. of Kahlua to ours and oh man was it yummy! I have a friend that makes homemade kahlua for us every Christmas and we found a tasty use for it. I keep meaning to share that recipe with you all every year and I keep forgetting. Do me a favor, yell at me on Facebook if you haven’t seen the recipe by February! 😉 I really recommend Hoth chocolate for this year to warm up while standing in line to get your tickets or seats for The Force Awakens if you haven’t yet. You can’t go wrong with White Hot Chocolate, no matter what it’s called.
I was totally inspired by our recipe for Slow Cooker Candy Cane White Hot Chocolate and adapted that recipe for my own Star Wars purposes!
I used my Crock Pot for this recipe.
