3 INGREDIENT CROCK POT BEAN DIP is so good that it’s always gone in a flash!!! It’s the easiest recipe to make and a great last minute appetizer!
You guys I’m so excited for FOOTBALL!!!!!!!! Preseason games get me so pumped I can hardly wait for the regular season to start!!! I grew up moving all the time and in the 90’s we lived in Dallas. There is no way that you can live in Dallas and not become a HUGE fan of football. Our math class was sponsored by the NFL and we had a special textbook. All the word problems were football related and we even had a life-sized poster of Warren Moon that we used to work on measurement problems. I’m serious! IT. WAS. AWESOME!!! Anyone else live in the Grapevine area remember this? If you do I’d love to find out if they continued the program. I think we were the first year to have it.
Anyway…..
Football and awesome snacks go hand in hand! There is no way around an awesome spread of food to watch the game. I love pulling out the Crock Pot on game day to make a super tasty snack and then maybe another to make dinner. You read that right, another Crock Pot. I can’t find myself stuck in the kitchen while the game is on, right?! No matter what, my family wants to eat dinner Sunday, after Sunday, after Sunday. I’ve tried to reason with them that mommy’s Boys are playing but their tummies win out, so Crock Pot it is. 🙂
This 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Bean Dip was actually first made for me by my husband. This may not sound amazing to you but if you knew my husband it would. He’s not a big cook. I don’t think it’s that he can’t it’s more that he doesn’t want to. He grew up with his mom cooking for him and then when he moved out Taco Bell became his source of food. Then I came along and eventually started to cook for him.
There are only 3 ingredients in this bean dip so you want to make sure that they’re good. The most critical ingredient is the salsa. I like using the Easy Blender Salsa in this recipe for 2 reasons. 1) I make it every Sunday to snack on during the game and most important 2) it has sooooo much flavor. There is onion, garlic, cumin and cilantro. I knew that half of you think cilantro tastes like soap. If you’re in that group feel free to leave it out but I LOVE it! If you decide to not use this salsa just make sure that you’re not just going with a bland cheap brand. You know the kind that just taste like tomato soup. You may even want to taste it half way through and make sure that you don’t need to add anything to jazz it up.
Alright guys! It’s been fun thinking of NFL math and all the yummy snacks to come with football season. Now get to cooking this tasty 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Bean Dip! It’s one of my best crock pot recipes!
