These Tequila Turkey Sliders with Fresh Guacamole are tiny turkey burgers flavored with tequila & lime and topped with fresh guacamole. Perfect party food!
Hey guys! I’m Denise, and I’m so excited to be sharing my very first recipe with you as a Real Housemoms contributor!
I must be losing my mind, because I blinked, and suddenly it’s May. How did that happen? Well, I’m glad it’s May because May means many things: warmer weather, longer days…and Cinco de Mayo!
Ahhh, Cinco de Mayo, that special day when the nachos plentiful and the margaritas are flowing!
This year, I thought it would be fun to make a special appetizer worthy of a Cinco de Mayo party. Of course, there is tequila involved. Of course!
I settled on these Tequila Turkey Sliders, which are flavored with lime and jalapenos, and have a hint of tequila. I topped my burgers with a slice of Monterey Jack cheese, and a healthy dollop of freshly made guacamole.
These sliders are packed with fresh and delicious Mexican flavors…the tequila/lime and the guacamole complement each other beautifully. They are so easy to prepare, and are so fun to eat…I swear that mini food tastes better.
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
