Cuervo’s Iced Teagarita is combined with fresh raspberries and lemon juice to make a RASPBERRY LEMON ICED TEAGARITA for a VERY refreshing cocktail on a warm summer day! You can’t go wrong with iced tea and margaritas!
I’m a pretty bad procrastinator. It’s true, I’m terrible. I will have all the best intentions of keeping on top of my projects and finishing ahead of time and then all of a sudden my due date is on top of me and I’m in a mad dash to finish. That’s sort of the situation I’m in right now. One of my very best friends is coming into town in a couple of weeks with her family and they’ve never seen our new house. Our house that we bought with a know number of projects that grew astronomically once we got into the house. Don’t get me wrong I love our house but there’s a lot to do. So, with my friend and her family coming we realized there were some projects we started and hadn’t finished that needed to finally get done and a few smaller things that we haven’t started but want to do before they get here and that means a lot of work.
The weather hasn’t been helping to make it easy either. It HAS been sunny but it’s also been close to 100 degrees on the days we were up working on the roof. Now THAT was a project. We’ve never put on a new roof but we YouTubed the heck out of roofing and we did it. We were/are so proud of ourselves but I tell you what, we were exhausted and HOT!!! My all time favorite drink to cool off with in the summer is a nice cold margarita. They’re so good with the lime flavors and the orange liqueur. Then I heard about Jose Cuervo’s new drink the Iced Teagarita and I knew that I had to try it!
I love drinking Jose Cuervo’s ready-to-serve margaritas, so I knew that they made a great mixed drink and I absolutely love the flavors of lemonade and iced tea mixed so I thought this would just be killer. I was right! Once we finished with the roof and we had no energy we sat on the back deck with some chips and salsa and a couple of these Raspberry Lemon Ice Teagaritas and played cards. I muddled some fresh raspberries in the bottom of my glass and added some fresh lemon juice and ice then I just poured the Cuervo Iced Teagtarita over the top and that’s it!!! My husband LOVED them too! It was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment we had. I absolutely recommend grabbing a bottle as soon as it’s in a store near you, and that should be soon, if not already. Teagarita launched in May and it’s making it’s way to more and more stores through the summer. Next time you’re out look for it and make a batch of this Teagarita. You I would even follow Jose Cuervo on Facebook to make sure that you’r in the loop!
