I’m very lucky that I get to help out in my pre-k son’s class twice a month. It’s so much fun to get to know all the kids in his class. I will say, that a class full of boys really uses up most of my energy though. So when I get home I am usually looking to just relax and decompress. I started to think of tropical vacations and then decided to make up a drink using rum because sitting by a beach in the warm sand sipping on a rum cocktail is just the thing to recharge a mom. The next best thing to a tropical vacation is a tropical drink like this Peach Mango Rum Splash.
Peach Mango Rum Splash is easy to make and uses a lot of ingredients you probably already have in your liquor cabinet. Rum, Grand Marnier, and peach mango juice combine to make a delicious tropical getaway in a glass.
- 2 ounces silver rum
- 1/2 ounces Grand Marnier
- 4 ounces peach mango juice
- Splash of grenadine
- Squeeze of 1/4 lime
- Lime slice for garnish
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the rum, Grand Marnier, peach mango juice, and grenadine. Cover and shake vigorously until chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into an ice-filled glass. Squeeze the lime over top of your drink and garnish with a lime slice. Serve immediately.
