Hello beauty babes! Today I wanted to share a few tips and sites I have come across that help me save (and even EARN) money when buying high end brand makeup online!
Before I tell you about some of the wonderful sites I have discovered, here are a few tips I have learned for getting discounts and promo codes before you make your online purchase.
First thing I like to do when I am interested in purchasing from a certain brand or website is to check and see if they offer any discount for signing up for their newsletter. A lot of companies offer this incentive! Sometimes its a certain percent off your fist order, sometimes its free shipping. If that is not something they offer, the next thing I like to do is check out their social media sites. Just about every brand these days has a facebook, twitter and instagram page. Its worth it to follow one or all of their social sites, because a lot of the times they will offer special promo codes on those sites FIRST!
Another thing I like to do is load up my online cart with all the items I want to purchase, and then leave it there for a few days. If you are signed into the site, you may get an email from the company offering a special discount code to you as an incentive for you to complete your purchase! This doesn’t always happen, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a try!
Another idea is to do a google search for product reviews of the item(s) you’d like to purchase. A lot of times many companies will work with bloggers and youtubers and give them a special promo code to share with their readers and viewers! Definitely take advantage of those.
Now as for earning cash back, there is a site that actually PAYS you to shop online! Talk about your dream job, right!? When you sign up for Ebates you shop through their links and can earn cash back on all of your purchases. You can even earn extra cash if you refer friends to sign up as well. What’s great about ebates is that not only do you get cash back, but they also share the latest coupon codes and discounts offered from the site you plan to shop at! And this site isn’t just for shopping makeup, you can shop 1,800+ of the world’s top online stores. Like Walmart, Target, Ulta, Sephora and more. You can shop restaurants, traveling and vacations, clothes, home and much more. If I am going to make a purchase online I will ALWAYS check ebates first to see if they have a cash back link for the website. Also – this site is FREE to join!
HauteLook is another site that is not JUST for makeup – though that is just what I prefer to buy from the site. HauteLook is a place where you’ll discover thousands of the top fashion and lifestyle brands at amazing savings. Each day at 8 AM Pacific, shop new sale events featuring the best names in women’s and men’s fashion and accessories, beauty, kids’ apparel and toys, and home décor at up to 75% off. Membership is free and everyone is welcome. Most all of my high-end makeup has been purchased at MAJOR discounts from this site! Another really great thing about HauteLook is their referral program! You can get $10-$20 to shop HL for every person you refer (when they make their first purchase).
Next up is LuxePineapple! LuxePineapple is a fairly new yet fast growing site that offers authentic high-end designer brand cosmetics at major discounts. What is fun about LP is their Box of Joy! In addition to shopping products individually, they also offer a special box of joy which is a NON-SUBSCRIPTION based beauty box full of treats at at an extremely low price. Ive gotten several Box of Joy’s and am never disappointed. They come in an adorable pink box with a hand tied ribbon. LOVE! Other great features of shopping LuxePineapple is that shipping is ALWAYS FREE!! And they too offer a referral program which earns you money to shop their site. In addition to their low prices, they are always offering special discounts, and giveaways on their social sites. Plus if you sign up for their newsletter you will always be FIRST to know about new products (because they sell out super fast!) and discount codes.
Lastly is somewhat similar type of website called WeMakeBeauty! WeMakeBeauty sells affordable name brand Cosmetics, Skincare, Haircare and Fragrances for Men/Women! There is a HUGE variety of products to choose from, and they are all authentic as well. I have personally worked with them before and really enjoy their site and customer service!
