I love decorating our house for the holidays. It doesn’t matter what season it is, our house is ready to go! Now don’t get me wrong. I’m all about keeping things as easy as possible. I have a few go-to decor items for each holiday and then I can add in other elements around the house to tie everything together.

Big statement banners are one of my favorite easy holiday decorations. They cost you next to nothing to make, you can make them as big or as small as you like, and our kids love them! All you need is a printer, some paper, string or ribbon, and scissors. If your kids are older they can even get in on the fun and help you assemble the banner.

Since it’s Valentine’s Day I went with a classic pink theme but dressed it up with some watercolor texture and gold glitter. You can never go wrong with gold glitter! If you want to send a little love a long way, make this banner and mail it, all ready to hang. It also makes a great backdrop if you’re planning on popping the question to that special someone in your life. No matter how you celebrate Valentine’s Day be sure to share all the hugs and kisses you have!

  1. Hi! I love this!
I’m doing a round-up of Valentine’s Printables and was wondering if I could use an image from your post for both the post and a combined marketing (Pinterest, etc) image?
I already linked you, but wanted permission before using an image!
    Thanks either way.
