Pepperoni Makes the Best Pizza!
There’s a reason pepperoni is America’s favorite pizza topping – it’s savory and spicy and so full of flavor! To make it even BETTER (if that’s possible): Cut the pepperoni into quarters and layer it over the sauce, but under the cheese, or lightly precook the pepperoni in a skillet or in the microwave, then drain off the excess oil on a paper towel. Now the pepperoni will be PERFECT and will crisp up nicely on top of your pizza without being greasy!

Ingredients

Pizza Crust: Of course, you can just buy a pizza crust, but it’s a tube of crescent roll dough that makes this pizza magnificent – soft and warm with a buttery flavor. YUM! I prefer the single-sheet dough when possible, but the perforated dough works just fine, too.
Sauce: Try our Best Ever Pizza Sauce or use your favorite store-bought brand.
Cheese: Grated parmesan and shredded mozzarella make this recipe rich, gooey, and authentically delicious!
Toppings: We’re going with lots of sliced pepperoni for this crescent roll pizza! It’s fantastic! But feel free to try any of your favorite toppings from sausage and mushroom to ham and pineapple to chicken and bell peppers! It’s always a winner!
Seasoning: Sprinkle oregano on top for an intense Italian flavor!
How to Make Crescent Roll Pepperoni Pizza
STEP ONE: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 375°F. Roll the crescent dough out onto the parchment until it’s about 1/8-inch thick. Use your fingers to pinch the seams closed if needed.

STEP TWO: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a crust edge around all 4 sides. Top evenly with parmesan cheese, mozzarella, and pepperoni on top. Then, sprinkle the entire pizza with dried oregano.

STEP THREE: Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and hot. Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for 2-3 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.

Tips for Success
- Regular Pillsbury crescent rolls or crescent sheets (unperforated) will both work as the pizza crust for this recipe.
- Lining the baking pan with parchment catches the melted cheese and makes cleanup easier!
- Your pizza doesn’t have to be pepperoni – feel free to top this crescent roll pizza with your favorite toppings!
- This recipe is SO quick and easy, it makes a GREAT afterschool or late-night snack!

What’s the Best Way to Reheat Leftover Pizza?
Some people really like cold leftover pizza – I am not one of those people. Pizza should be eaten hot and melty with crispy edges. That said, how DO you properly warm up pizza leftovers?
- NOT in the microwave. Seriously. Just don’t unless it’s literally your only option. All you end up with is a soggy mess.
- In the oven or toaster oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes, until heated through.
- In an air fryer at 360°F for 4-6 minutes, depending on pizza thickness. Leave space between slices to ensure even cooking. And…
- The best option: In a skillet on the stovetop. Add a drizzle of oil to a cast-iron skillet and heat the pan over medium-high heat. Add as many pizza slices as you want, provided each one can lie flat on the bottom of the pan (no stacking). Cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 minutes. The cheese will be hot and melty, and the crust will become crisp, just like when it was freshly made!
