Have breakfast waiting for you with this CINNAMON RAISIN OVERNIGHT OATS recipe! This easy breakfast is made the night before and requires no cooking!
Raise your hand if you are not a morning person. I have both of my hands raised! I hate mornings! Hate Them! I have tried to become more of a morning person but it just ain’t happening. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will never ever be a bright ray of sunshine in the morning. Honestly, I am jealous of peppy morning people. I want to wake up with a spring in my step.
My lack of morning motivation has inspired me to come up with shortcuts, tricks, and time savers. The easier my mornings are the better! So overnight oats happen a lot at my house. Just mix up the oatmeal at night, let it refrigerate and breakfast is ready first thing.
Refrigerator oatmeal can be made in so many different flavor varieties. Add your favorite fruit, nuts, milk, or even jam. I do prefer to use nut milk in my overnight oats because it creates a silkier texture.
These Cinnamon Raisin Overnight Oats are a simple blend of cinnamon, golden raisins, old fashioned oats, brown sugar, and almond milk. The perfect start to your day!
