Hopefully you enjoyed the tutorial and got a few tips out of watching it. Let’s discuss what all we used to achieve this back to school look.
Eucerin Daily Protection Moisturizer || You always want to use moisturizer before applying makeup, this will help your skin to stay hydrated under all those layer. You also, want to make sure to let your moisturizer really sink in before applying any other products on top of it. As to why I chose this particular moisturizer, you want to make sure that you pick something with an SPF in it especially if you’re going to be spending a lot of time outside. If you choose a moisturizer with SPF in it then you are free to either go sans foundation or use a foundation with no SPF.
Maybelline Baby Skin || If you don’t have large pores you can skip this step, however, if you do suffer from large pores a Pore Eraser is a good thing to have in your makeup bag. I spread this just over my t-zone, where my large pores are, and it instantly smooths out the pores giving me a super smooth canvas.
CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation || If you are going to use a foundation type product I would suggest a foundation over a BB cream. While you may have been spending a lot of time in BB creams over the summer, for back to school you want something that will last, a move over to a foundation may give you that lasting power. When I want my foundation to last awhile I use the CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation as it has great coverage and longevity.
Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow || While you can do any eye look you want for school, my suggestion is to just keep it simple. You don’t want something that is going to be super distracting and that won’t hold up throughout the day. If you know that your cat eye has a tendency to cat nap then you might want to skip it for school. For my look I kept it simple with just a single cream shadow swiped over the eye. This is quick and easy to do so if you are running late this is perfect to do! Plus, I know that it will last throughout the day without creasing or running off my eyes.
CoverGirl Bombshell Mascara || When it comes to mascara you’re going to want to look for a couple of things. You want one that you know will last throughout the day without stinging your eyes. I personally have a few that after a few hours I have to take them off immediately or else they will burn my eyes something awful. You also want a mascara that is waterproof, if at all possible, this might allow you to get away with getting through PE without having it run all over the place.
Benefit Gimme Brows || One thing that will just add to your look is finishing your brows. Whether you fill them in with a product like Benefit’s Gimme Brows, you fill them in with an eye shadow, or you just use a brow gel to tame them you need to do something. You would be surprised how much a groomed brow will completely bring a look together.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder || A setting powder is a must when doing this look. You want to help your makeup last longer without touch-ups and you also don’t want your face to press onto other things/people. To achieve this setting your foundation will help to keep it in place and make it last longer.
Neutrogena Color Stick || While it may be tempting to break out your most vivid and bright lipstick, it might be a better idea to curb that thought. Vivid lipsticks are hard to maintain for a long period of time as the color can feather off your lips and onto your face and of course fade off. You want to go with something that is easy to maintain and as a bonus that will hydrate your lips throughout the day. The Neutrogena color sticks have colors ranging from a nude shade to dark plum shades that add a hint of color without being to overpowering. In addition to that they are easy to apply/reapply throughout the day AND they leave your lips super hydrated.
Hopefully you found some of these tips useful and use at least one of them the next time that you go out. In the meantime, let us know in the comments below what your favorite makeup item was/is for school!

Nice! I always too confuse to use a eye shadow on my eyes please give me some suggestion to apply eye shadow how to use a double shades on the eyes?
Cassie says
The basics for using double shades on your eyes is to start with a pale shade all over the lid as a base so that everything applies evenly. You want your lighter shade to be towards the inner part of the eye and you want the darker shade to be towards the outer corner. The MOST important thing is blend, blend, and then blend some more. For using two different colors making sure they transition seamlessly is what makes them look well.
