This MARGARITA MILKSHAKE is for the adults! Enjoy anytime you want a cool, refreshing tasty beverage with a kick. It doesn’t need to be 5 o’clock!
Oh boy, we are getting into my favorite time of the year! Winter is over and it’s time to look forward to warmer weather, getting outside, and drinking some refreshing beverages. If you are a fan of margaritas (either on the rocks or frozen) and milkshakes, then you will want to add this drink to your must-try list. It’s a marriage made in drink heaven and definitely an adult drink that would be perfect for spring including Cinco de Mayo, summer, or anytime you want something cool and creamy. So move over shamrock shake, there’s a new kid in town!
True story – my very first job was working at McDonald’s (would you like fries with that?). I learned such phrases as “if you have time to lean, then you have time to clean” (which I thought was dorky at the time but obviously it is ingrained in my brain). Just a typical teenage first job! One of my duties was making milkshakes and they did not just pour out of a machine (I know – I’m dating myself). We had to take a cup, add some flavored syrup, dispense the ice cream and place it on a shake maker – the trick was getting it off without whipping the shake ingredients all over. Well, more than once, I would be done with my shift covered in shake splatter. Not fun and really sticky! This shake is a lot easier to make – thank goodness! All your ingredients go in a blender and just as long as you leave the top on, you won’t have any mess! You will have this dreamy, creamy shake to enjoy! The recipe makes two so be sure to invite a friend over!
