This ST. GERMAIN SPARKLER is a sweet and refreshing cocktail that can be enjoyed morning, noon, or night!
Have you ever tried St. Germain? I had never heard of it until Real Housemom’s very own Aubrey bought me a St. Germain cocktail at a Bare Naked Ladies concert this summer. I couldn’t believe how delicious it was and I really couldn’t believe that I had never heard of it! St. Germain is a French elderflower liqueur and was created only about 8 years ago.
This cocktail is dangerous. Why you ask? Well, for one thing, it only takes a few minutes to make. No cocktail shaker needed. Just the right ingredients and a glass. Secondly, this drink really doesn’t taste boozy at all. I don’t know about you, but the easier a drink goes down, the easier it is for me to have another. Third, this drink is so deliciously refreshing that it can be served with breakfast, lunch, dinner, or in between. Dangerous.
The recipe is posted below, but I’ve included a few pictures to show you how easy this really is to make. First, you add equal amounts of St. Germain and vodka.
Then, you had some sparkling apple cider. YUM!
Now, at this point, the drink can be a bit too sweet for my taste, so I like to top it off with some club soda.
Both my husband and I couldn’t believe how tasty this drink was. It will surely be made again (very soon) in our house.
