Need a simple, healthy, and delicious side dish? These creamy cucumbers will be everyone’s favorite at your next BBQ!
Summertime is all about fresh and simple ingredients. We want less time spent in the kitchen and more time spent near the pool and with our friends and family.
One of my favorite vegetables during the summertime is cucumbers. They are great in your water, salads, or side dishes. I tend to keep the skin on my cucumbers when they are being cut thin but feel free to take the skin off first if desired.
The creamy mix is a mixture of Miracle Whip, milk, sugar, vinegar, and some salt and pepper. These are all ingredients you probably have in your home already which makes preparing this a breeze.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Miracle Whip
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- ½ Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. granulated sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 cups sliced cucumbers
Instructions
- Whisk together Miracle Whip, milk, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper until well blended. Add sliced cucumbers to the mix and combine until all cucumbers are covered. Serve immediately or refrigerate before serving.

This has always been one of my favorites. We were just given a dozen or more cukes from my in-laws garden. I think this will be our recipe for tonight. Thanks for sharing!
