Looking for a fun way to help kids learn shapes?! These eight free shape puzzles are an easy way to kick up the cool math factor. My three year old loved carefully matching up the colorful shapes and my soon-to-be-kindergartener was excited to spell out the words. It was a win-win for both of them!
Prepping the shape puzzles was as quick and easy as it comes. I printed the freebies on cardstock to give them some extra durability and make the colors really pop. Then I grabbed a pair of scissors and started cutting apart the pieces – sliding each one into a snack size Ziploc.
When the puzzles were ready just a few minutes later, I invited my two very eager boys over to join me. Big Brother grabbed the triangle,
And Little Brother jumped to work on the circle.
