My Power Pressure Cooker XL Model #PPC770 does not have a “saute” setting. What setting can I use in lieu of saute?
Thank you.
Jennifer Kimmel says
Hello Tina! The saute function is usually to brown ingredients or soften them. You can either do this in a separate pan or just cook the meal just a tad longer.

I’m new to the wonderful world of pressure cooking and ended up here. Though I will absolutely try the recipe, it was your ‘sermon’ that really touched me. I’m going through the same struggle with my non profit one year in. Your cheerleading hit at just the right moment! We must do the things we love and believe that the hard work will pay off in both expected and unexpected ways. Hang in there. Love your blog!

Looking to purchase instant pots and am happy that you were able to make a list and place the pros and cons. This would definitely help me in making more informed choices. Gosh there are so many models to choose from. I hope to buy the one that I would get the most bang for the buck. Thanks for this!

Absolutely! I know exactly what you’re going through though I have the research till my brain hurts when it comes to buying certain gadgets. Whichever choice you make I’m sure it will be a great one.
