What alcohol mixes well with apple cider?

Apple cider is loaded with delicious spices that pair well with a variety of spirits, especially darker spirits. Spiced rum, whiskey, bourbon, and brandy are favorites frequently added to apple cider. Lighter spirits are tasty, too, like caramel vodka! There are so many layers of flavor in apple cider that you really can’t go wrong when it comes to adding alcohol, so try a few of your favorites and discover which feels the most like a wonderful fall day to you!

Can I add other fruit?

Sangria is all about showcasing the best flavors of the season, so yes, add all the seasonal fruit you like! Orange slices, pomegranate seeds, or pears are a few ideas, but don’t forget herbs and spices! Star anise, rosemary, and cardamom can also infuse your sangria with a ton of flavor and are so wonderfully warming. Don’t be afraid to play with the ingredients that feel like fall to you, and create a really lip-smacking drink!
