Fall is watching football, enjoying the breeze and chill in the air, and drinking lots of apple cider, hard or not. I picked some hard apple cider up the other day to enjoy as a treat while we watched the games. There are so many great hard apple ciders on the market right now. I think it’s the emergence of gluten free diets. I believe hard apple cider is gluten free, although I could be wrong, I am a gluten addict. I know that there’s no wheat in apple cider but not sure if someone somewhere has snuck it in. (shoulder shrug)  _/ 🙂 /_

I grabbed an orange from my fruit basket to add a bit of fresh flavor to my drink and then started thinking that Grand Marnier and ginger vodka would be good also. Let me tell you they were! It was a nice refreshing way to cut through some of the sweetness that you get with apple ciders. My husband and I both had a big glass as we watched each of our teams lose at home on opening day. 🙁  This Wicked Good Cider Cocktail is what made it OK. So I’m from now on I’m going to make sure I’m ready to go with a Wicked Good Cider Cocktail just in case! 🙂
