Ingredients

Bread: Hawaiian Dinner Rolls are the winner here! Their subtle sweetness adds a layer of flavor that really works!
Filling: I mean, is it really breakfast without eggs? For meats, we’re using pork breakfast sausage and bacon. But you could also use turkey sausage, ham, turkey bacon, etc. What you like the best is what you should use!
Dairy: Unsalted butter is used to finish the sliders, and we use American Cheese for that PERFECT, soft, totally melted finish!
Topping: A little fresh-chopped parsley mingled with the melted butter adds a beautiful, flavorful finish to these breakfast sliders.
How to Make Breakfast Sliders
STEP ONE: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and prep a 7×11 baking pan with parchment paper. Whisk together the eggs with the salt & pepper and pour them into the parchment-lined pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. (Leave the oven on.)

STEP TWO: While the eggs are baking, brown the sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat. Strain off any grease and set the sausage aside in a small bowl.

STEP THREE: Line another baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the entire package of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, leaving the top and bottom halves intact. Lay the bottom buns on the parchment. Add the sheet of baked eggs next. Top the eggs with bacon slices and the crumbled sausage. Add the slices of American cheese. Finally, finish with the tops of the buns and brush the melted butter over them.

STEP FOUR: Tightly wrap the sliders in foil and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Slice with a large, serrated bread knife and dig in! Yum!

Tips for Success
- If you don’t have a 7×11 baking dish, you can use a 9×13 dish and a couple of ramekins to create a smaller well with parchment paper.
- Or you can use a 9×13 baking dish instead. Cook the eggs for 15-18 minutes instead. You’ll need to trim down the baked eggs to fit the rolls.
- Add a little Worcestershire sauce to the melted butter for a more savory flavor or a little maple syrup for a sweeter bite.
- Add in chopped, pan-seared tofu in place of the sausage and bacon for a vegetarian option.
- Leftovers will keep airtight in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Serve Breakfast Sliders on their own as a great handheld breakfast or with fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls as a yummy Saturday morning meal.

Can You Make Hawaiian Sliders in Advance?
Obviously, breakfast sliders don’t have to be made in advance, but one of the brilliant benefits is that they can be! The best way to prep this recipe is to thoroughly cook the ingredients and assemble the sandwiches the night before. Cover with an airtight lid and refrigerate. In the morning, set the sliders out at room temperature while you melt the butter and preheat the oven. Brush the rolls with the butter, then bake according to the recipe.
Can I Freeze Breakfast Sliders?
Absolutely! And there are two great ways to freeze them. If you are making this ahead for a big family breakfast, double wrap the entire pan with plastic wrap, then with foil, and freeze for up to 2 months. When you’re ready to bake, thaw in the fridge overnight, remove the wrapping, brush the rolls with melted butter, then bake per the instructions.
If you’re making these for individual grab-and-go morning handhelds, fully finish the recipe. Allow them to cool, then slice them into individual sliders. Wrap each one in plastic wrap and foil and freeze for 2-3 months. To reheat, remove from foil and plastic, wrap in a damp paper towel, and microwave at 30-second intervals until thoroughly warmed. Delicious!

Equipment
- 7×11 Baking Dish (see note)
Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 6 ounces breakfast sausage
- 8 slices bacon
- 12 Hawaiian rolls (do not separate)
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Linea 7-inch x 11-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the eggs are set. (see note) Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before removing from the baking dish. Leave the oven on.
- While the eggs cook, place two large skillets over medium heat. Add the breakfast sausage to one skillet and the bacon strips to the other. Cook the sausage until browned through, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Cook the bacon, flipping as needed until crispy. Transfer the sausage to a paper towel-lined bowl to drain, and the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Cut the bacon strips into thirds.
- When everything is prepped, cut the rolls in half horizontally. You want the individual rolls still connected. Set the top half aside for now.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Top with the eggs, then the bacon, crumbled sausage, and sliced cheese. (The cheese goes on top so it melts and holds everything together.) Place the top buns over the slider filling. Brush the top with melted butter.
- Wrap with foil. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a cutting board. Cut into individual sliders, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
