Pomegranate Champagne is a yummy drink that is perfect for the holidays. Aubrey and I served it at our Letters to Santa Party and Appetizer Potluck and it was a big hit. One of my friends said that she is going to replace her usual Christmas morning mimosa with Pomegranate Champagne. It is a new way to add some fruity flavors to champagne. I have made variations of mimosas, but wanted to try something a little different for the holidays. After some research, Martha Stewart came to the rescue with this delicious recipe for Pomegranate Champagne! My husband and I will enjoy this drink while we eat Christmas breakfast and watch A Christmas Story! Give Pomegranate Champagne a try and let us know what you think!
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 cup pear nectar
- 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
- 750 mL bottle of champagne (I used a Moscato-d'Asti)
- Add champagne to a large pitcher, being careful not to let it bubble over.
- Pour in pomegranate juice, pear nectar, and Grand Marnier. Stir to combine.
- Pour cocktail into wine glasses filled with ice. Serve immediately.
