Apple Pie Syrup

Apple Pie Syrup_Real Housemoms

One of my favorite Fall memories is of going apple picking when I was younger and lived in Massachusetts. I went with some of my friends and had an amazing time. The weather was crisp and we were all bundled up in sweaters. We took a hayride out to the orchard and picked a ton of apples. After we went back to the farm we had some apple cider and all the apple pie, and apple fritters we could stomach!

When I was still in AZ I would dream about all the apple desserts and warm snuggly clothes but it was still 80 or 90 degrees. This year I’m in Oregon and the leaves are changing, the air is pretty chilly and I even have an apple tree in my yard!!! There’s only be one small apple but still at some point I’ll be able to pick apples right in my yard!!!

This pie syrup is like waking up and having Fall on your plate. You could put this on top of so many things like ice cream, cookies or a huge plate of warm fluffy pancakes. It couldn’t be any easier to make and your family and your tummy will love you for it!

    1. You can certainly use brown sugar, just remember brown sugar can tend to add just a bit extra-sweetness. T always means tablespoon and t always means teaspoon, I hope that is the question you are asking and clarifies, if not please let me know how I can better answer for you.
