Last month I was kept very busy while working on a boy’s nursery for the newest addition to our family. As part of all the projects, I upcycled a dresser into a changing table here on Real Housemoms. And on my website I also featured a super cute way to display baby’s name with Baby Name String Art along with the most adorable Handmade Felt Baby Mobile I think I’ve ever laid eyes on.
It’s six weeks later, and I’m now working on a piece for his cousin’s nursery. She’s an adorable little bundle that’s every bit as cute. So I’m doing her justice by adding a much-needed accessory to her nursery – a picture frame hairbow holder to hold all those big and beautiful hair bows.
This project couldn’t be any easier to make. I picked up a pre-painted frame from my local crafts store and from there chose an assortment of ribbon.
Once I was happy with my color choices, I removed the glass from the frame and attach my ribbons to the back with hot glue.
And I was done! I almost feel guilty about how easy this project was. Almost.
I just love the details this frame had and was so glad that it was pre-painted. But if you have an extra frame laying around, take advantage and just add a coat of paint to it.
So easy! This frame was on the smaller side being an 8×10. You may want to up the size depending on the hoard of hairbows you have, which seem to accumulate faster than crumbs on the floor.
