Summer Grilling with Hebrew National

The summers in Oregon are amazing!! The weather is mild and the rain is gone. Everything is green and there are tons of roses and color everywhere! I love it!!! We end up hanging out in our backyard grilling most nights! We like to eat out there as a family and anytime we have friends over for dinner it’s absolutely cooked out on the grill! I love being able to make
simple meals on the grill so I can spend time with my friends and family and not spend all my time cooking. One of my favorites to serve up to friends is Grilled Artichokes with a Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce.
This sauce is amazing because it pulls double duty for this menu. It is delicious with the grilled artichokes and I put it on my Hebrew National Hot Dogs to dress them up! The first time I made this my husband and I couldn’t stop eating it! We stood at the counter eating our dogs and dipping our artichokes and we couldn’t stop! They didn’t even make it to a plate!
We’ve been eating a lot of hot dogs this summer because everyone loves a hot dog! For the Fourth we had our friends over and smoked some ribs and a brisket. My friends all know that I partnered with Hebrew National this summer. So, when I put out the food I had quite a few asking when the hot dogs were going to be ready! They all loved them and they were a bigger hit than the brisket and ribs!!! Hebrew National Hot Dogs are made with 100% Kosher beef and that gives them premium taste and quality that so I feel great serving them up to my friends and family! When you’re summer grilling keep it simple and full of delicious flavor! Make some Grilled Artichokes with Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce and Hebrew National Hot Dogs!!!
- 2 artichokes
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 tsp olive oil
- cut the tips of each of the artichoke leaves
- cut the artichokes in quarters
- drizzle with lemon juice
- using a spoon remove the choke in the center of the artichoke
- steam the artichokes for 30-45 minutes until the stem is tender
- remove and place face up on a baking dish or plate
- drizzle with olive oil
- place face down on a grill heated to medium high heat
- cover the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes
Honey Sriracha Dipping Sauce
- mix all ingredients in a small bowl
- dip the artichoke leaves in or top your hot dog with the sauce
