Hey y’all! I’m Kirsten from Sweet Tea & Saving Grace, and I’m super excited to share monthly DIY projects with you all! My blog is filled with loads of crafts and home decor projects, as well as tips for living a simpler life, and some great resources for bloggers, so pop over and check it out!
Today I want to show you how I turned a plain wooden crate into a fun and unique Boho Chic Bedside Table for my daughter’s bedroom.
Let me give you a little background before I get to the tutorial. We are in the super early phase of a room makeover for my daughter Marley. She’s a pre-teen who loves all things boho chic, and she’s pretty much obsessed with anything involving her favorite show, The Walking Dead. I combined her love of boho with her love of TWD to create a very one-of-a-kind bedside table for her future awesome boho chic bedroom!
On with the show!

After cutting out the lettering, I used transfer tape to pick up the lettering from the vinyl backing and place it on the crate. Placement was a little tricky because of the gaps between the wood slats, but I did the best I could.

Here are a couple other projects of mine that you might enjoy:

I look forward to sharing another project with you next month!
