This Peachy Mango Smoothie is the perfect healthy treat!
When it comes to meals and snacking, my kids aren’t exactly fruit eaters. They will, however, drink a fresh fruit smoothie. It’s strange, I know, but whatever works, right?
My youngest daughter has recently discovered a love of mangoes, and the other day she decided she wanted one in a shake. So, we headed to the store to find some and to see what else we could add to it. We decided on peaches, some juice and almond milk. It was so good! In fact, it tasted just as good as something you’d pay a pretty penny for a at one of those smoothie places.
One batch made enough for both of us to have a glass, or, if you don’t have anyone to share with, you could always put the leftovers in popsicle molds and freeze them for a fun treat later!
This recipe is very versatile- if you don’t care for almond milk, you could always use soy milk or regular milk instead.
