Easy Kitchen Improvement for Under $50

Spring is always symbolic of new life so naturally, most people gravitate towards the desire to reset some of the chaos around them so that they can have a fresh start too. We have already been tied into the long process of doing some home renovations this year, but this summer I have a few projects in mind that I really felt we could knock off the list easily that would not require too much of a time commitment. We went to the home improvement mecca, The Home Depot, and picked up everything we needed for all of our on-going projects in one fell swoop. This month alone we took the rock out of our backyard and replaced it with turf, we changed out all of our faucet fixtures, and now we are starting to tackle the kitchen.

For just under $50 I was able to add kitchen handles on all of our cabinetry and drawers! We have a lot of cabinetry in our kitchen so your final total may vary depending on your needs, but if I could do it all for under $50, you totally can too! This simple change was super easy, did not break the bank, and was a great way to change up the feel of our kitchen without having to put in a lot of labor. This little change gave our kitchen new life, and I have not even gotten to the best part yet!

The Ibotta app is a cash back shopping app that I use regularly because it rewards me for shopping at stores that I already shop at, for items that I am already planning to buy. Ibotta just launched a brand new way to save using their app and I am so excited about it. Their newest feature, Pay with Ibotta, is a safe, easy, and secure way to pay for purchases straight from the app and earn cash back instantly on your entire purchase. All you have to do is link your credit or debit card to the Ibotta app and use the app to pay directly at more than 30 popular stores and restaurants! The Home Depot is one of the awesome stores that I can use the Pay with Ibotta feature and get rewarded with 3% cash back on my entire purchase.

I cannot emphasize enough about how easy the Pay With Ibotta feature was to use. Paying at The Home Depot was a breeze. I scanned my items, touched “Pay Now” on the self-checkout screen at The Home Depot, then I entered the amount I owed into the Ibotta app. From there, I chose “Gift Card” from the self-checkout payment menu, scanned the barcode in the Ibotta app, and then typed in the provided pin on the payment screen of the self-checkout kiosk. The entire process was so quick and easy to follow. The transaction works just like having a digital gift card for the exact amount that you owe, but with instant cash back! The savvy shopper in me just loves Ibotta!

The only issue I am facing now is that my brand new cabinet fixtures look so good that I am almost considering repainting the cabinets next. I am sure that once I am in the paint aisle at The Home Depot I will be inspired by some beautiful color palette and want to repaint my bathroom too. The Pay with Ibotta feature is so great because even though I know The Home Depot carries everything I could ever need, it does not mean that my car is always equipped to carry it all back to the house at once.
